The Great Library

Founded during the first century of the fouth Order this is a place of knowledge and wisdom. It originated with a small group of people, the last to be skilled in reading, coming together to uncover the truths about past days. In order to preserve this knowledge they at first could hardly understand, they collected every document they could get their hands on. And their hunt for other scrolls, books and documents never stopped.
In later days, especially during the golden age, the great library became the metropole of knowledge and its librarians greatly respected. The skill of reading spread throughout all the Land and from everywhere rich sons were sent to study at the "place of all knowledge".

Independent from any kingdom or other mortal realm the librarians are sworn to protect the knowledge of the past so that all may learn from it and build a better future.
In exchange for access all leaders and regents have to send regular convoys of food supplies.
