Yellow Dragon Scale Fruit
The yellow dragon scale fruit is a type of exotic fruit found at the equator of the New Realm. It has a hard exterior that resembles scales and is bright yellow with gold flecks that sparkle in the sunlight.
When ripe, the fruit is plucked from the tree of which it’s grown on, cut in two, scooping the interior flesh from the inside. This sweet interior is good for eating as is, made into desserts, or puréed into a juice.
The fruit is rich in vital nutrients that improves ones health, and healers use a mixture o fresh and dried to prepare tonics.
The exterior skin is dried and ground into a powder. This powder is used for dyes in fabric making tints for the eyes, and art material.
The quality of the dye is divided into categories for purity and colour.

Byproducts & Sideproducts
Because there is such a high demand for the powder, producers were left with a large amount of flesh from the interior of the fruit.
