CHROMIA, aka ELITA 3

Firm in the face of adversity, Elita 3 is here to set an example!

Even though she’s often described as noble and stern, Chromia is finding it difficult not to flip her lid at all these crazy Cybertronians she’s surrounded by. Coming to the Academy from her homeworld Caminus, she’s continually grumbling that she ought to go back home and drag her best friend Windblade with her. It helps that she rooms with four others, Ariel, Arcee, Moonracer, and Firestar, who show her the bright side every day. Often she finds herself wanting to confess that she isn’t simply a size 3 truck with a normal life as a student but instead secretly a renowned superhero, especially to Windblade, or maybe that fellow student Ironhide who has an obvious crush on her alter ego.
When Ariel picked up the Enigma of Combination and shared it with her roommates, Chromia finds the power to upgrade into Elita 3, a stalwart defender named after her desire to live up to her full potential. She’s the third of the five members of the Elite Guard, coming to the rescue when the supernatural strikes or when functionism rears its ugly helm. Her most common allies outside her teammates are the Autobots, the Mistress of Flame in particular, although she will always uphold the values of the Elite Guard when the two factions disagree. Her powers are a deep connection with her teammates that fosters perfect teamwork, a sweeping blade called the Vorpal Saber, the ability to manipulate metal as one of the five Primal elements, access to the Infinite Combinatoric that turns separate mecha into a gestalt individual, and the ability to combine with her teammates to become Elita Infin1te with the Cyber Caliber. She most often duels with her polar opposite Thunderblast, finding her both irritating and destructive.
