Bo Jierong

Junior Commander Bo Jierong

Bo Jierong is a resident of Chang-Er, and a senior member of the Chang People's Liberation Front (CPLF), from which she has served for a very long time. Brought up in a family that were proud members of the Chang Peasant’s League, a known auxiliary to the CPLF, she was inculcated with the values of Yuan Stellar Socialism from a young age. When her family was forced from their homes, Bo joined the CPLF. Though initially not a capable fighter, Bo grew into her abilities and eventually became a well established veteran fighter for the organization, and eventually a relatively important small unit commander. It was here that she eventually met Zhou Biao, and the two established a longstanding close professional relationship.
When Zhou was assigned to the capital prefecture, he quickly chose Bo as his second in command, and the woman who would lead most of the major field operations, especially those where a trusted hand was required. Bo led a number of important attacks against the command infrastructure of Louyang´s militia, paralyzing the organization several times, and forcing Chang government regulars to engage the relatively small capital CPLF command. On the defensive, Bo proved no less a capable fighter, helping to extract several smaller cells from nearly undefeatable attacks, and proving invaluable in the preservation of the capital prefecture command of the CPLF. It is rumored that she may be given her own command, or indeed replace the venerable Zhou Biao, but Bo has, several times indicated that she prefers to lead in the field to the wider responsibilities of a higher level commander.
