The town of Fog

Before the great confluence event the town of Grantsern was just an unremarkable town but on the day of the confluence a thick fog covered the town and the surrounving area and has never lifted.

Demographics

Many who go into the town succumb to the madness of the fog and never leave. People who have entered the town and made it out alive have claimed to have seen primals and many other far more disturbing unidentifiable creatures.

At night locals claim that creatures called fog stalkers leave the fog and kidnap people from local settlements or travelers and take them back to Grantsern.

History

Before the confluence the Minerva company was buying most of the land in and surrounding Grantsern by the time of the confluence they owned half the town and convinced the city hall to privatize the towns police to Minerva.

After the confluence event a thick fog covered the town and has never lifted.
In the new dark age, most do all they can to avoid the town of Grantsern saying that its cursed or that there is a postal to hell has opened there and in the new dark age both are believable.

Points of interest

Minerva wellness Sanitarium was a psychiatric hospital for the mentally unstable. To the public, the hospital claimed to offer psychiatric and therapeutic services to help the mentally unwell. However, in reality, the hospital was used by the Minerva Corporation to experiment on its patients.

Hygeia clinic and Wellness Center was a clinic and therapy service created by the Minerva Corporation that is dedicated to helping the residence of Grantsern and stay in the town's good graces. But like all things with the Minerva Corporation the Wellness Center had other purposes. In reality, the center was a subsidiary of the Minerva Corporation andcivilians.


Asclepius's magic Ice Cream was an Ice cream shop that sold healthy snacks foods like cold drinks, chocolate, fruit, and ice cream, town'sbefore the confluence.But with most things with Minerva the ice cream parlor had alternative motivations. The Minerva Corporation used the ice cream parlor to experiment on its customers occasionally sneaking chemicals into the snacks.

Catacombs the Minerva Corporation was rumored to have built miles of tunnels under the town, but that may have just been a rumor.
