Grantsern fog Madness

The transmission of the fog madness is from breathing in the fog that always hangs around the town of Grantsern and never lifts. It is primarily an airborne toxin but can even affect the body through the skin. The fog itself is said to smell like blood and sulfur.

Symptoms

Grantsern's fog is an airborne toxin that's poisonous to living beings that causes a noticeable burning sensation in the lungs and skin irritation. The effects include dizziness, coughing fits, choking, vomiting and continuous exposure to the fog will cause. exhaustion and madness or be outright lethal as it attacks the body and causes necrosis (decay) psychic damage. However, most don't die of the fog after succumbing to the effects of the fog most rise again as fog people.

Treatment

strangely enough just leaving the fog will cause the effects of the toxin to fade away if not exposed to it for long enough which gives evidence to the fog being a supernatural toxin.
