The formerly suburban neighborhoods that is the territory of the Schaefer tribe that are believed to be the descendants of the residents who lived in the pre-conflux suburban housing complexe.
History
Before the Confluence event Sanctuary was a large-scale housing complex with miles of near-identical suburban houses, a few neighborhood parks, strip malls and local schools dotting the neighborhoods and a large street name Schaefer that ran through Sanctuary. But now after the Confluence in the new dark age the ones quiet neighborhoods, strip malls and homes have long been looted and left abandoned. Wild animals graze in places that were once public parks and people's lawns and gardens. Many of the old suburban houses have collapsed and others have become dens for packs of wild dogs who are the descendants from Pre-conflux neighborhood dogs.
