Jimmy was born into the crime family his father was a capo in the Crime family well his uncle Charles Falcone was the family's leader and the founder for the Falcoe crime family. As Jimmy got older he not only rose through the ranks of the Family's crime business but also shone that he had what it took to take power. Charles after seeing Jimmy's strength and ruthlessness chose Jimmy to take over the family after he was gone. And after his uncle Charles was killed by a rival gang Jimmy took over the family business. After taking over the Falcoe crime family he quickly grew the family's wealth and power taking out rivals and enemy gangs.

The stress of the job has given Jimmy some quirks like an addiction to alcohol. Jimmy started drinking to relieve stress and relax but after a while he started to need to drink every day, so he doesn't lose his cool. You don't want to be around him if it has been a while since his last drink. To keep him calm his consigliere always keeps a bottle of wine, beer or champagne at hand.
