Carnivore Legion
Culture
The carnivore legion is a raider tribe with a cannibalistic bend. They are infamous for there brutality and sadism, comprised entirely of drug-addled psychopaths who prey mostly on lone travelers and small towns. Carnivore Legion has become notoriously violent and cruel, and there culture reflects this. What is known about them is terrifying they known for indulging in thrill killing, their territory is littered with dismembered corpses and gore, they also have little regard for cleanliness or tidiness and seem to delight in making the ruins of El Sonador as hellish as possible.
Many in the Carnivore Legion have debilitating health problems due to unhinged levels of inbreeding and drug use and their regard towards cleanliness or all three. Many in the carnivore legion have gone primal and are more monster then human. The legion members that have begun to go primal are still taken care of by the wrest of the legion even as they go feral.
The majority of the Carnivore Legion are heavily addicted to a drug known as "fury," which induces psychosis with prolonged use. Despite their erratic behavior, they maintain a degree of organization, as they keep control over there territory and organize raids. While they possess firearms, they prefer close range weapons like knives and clubs, so they can relish in delivering slow, painful deaths to their victims.
History
The carnivore legion are descendants of a pre-Conflux drug cartel who for decades, lived around and in, El Sonador, a Pre-conflux community in the US state of Texas. During the day of the Confluence the descendants of the carnivore legion hid in the gang's underground bunker and tunnels that the gang used to smuggle drugs into the country with and that they spent years fortifying and stocking with supplies. As the supplies in the bunker began to run low the group turned to looting the surrounding communities for food, supplies and slaves. They did not keep records, so when or why the tradition of cannibalism developed is unknown, but in addition to eating the flesh of their enemies, they also kept their bones and skin using them to make weapons, leather armor, and adornments.
Territories
The Carnivore legion's territory is clearly demarcated by groups of impaled bodies and Effigies made of body parts.
Before the Confluence the descendants of the Carnivore legion hid in an underground bunker to ride out the initial chaos of the confluence. The ancestral bunker has become a sacred location to the carnivore legion it is the chiefs' home and where they perform their most sacred of rituals.
