The State Theater
The Once Iconic State Theater in the City of Modesto still stands after the Great War and subsequent Era of Chaos. Rival Raider gangs during the era of Chaos but now the Old State Theater is now under the control of a Lady Ghoul Singer/actress Turned Boss with her gang of Goon Enforcers and security. Providing Entertainment and Alchohol as sort of a nightclub to wasteland survivors and travelers to the region who seek advice and possibly jobs in the City of Modesto.
The State Theater Features Weekend shows along with Daily Music and Entertainment, the sale of alcohol, and homemade hooch to pacify visitors or possibly subdue troublemakers. Security is tight but if you befriend "Carol" the Lady Ghoul Boss most certainly you will have a Freind and Knowledgeable Contact within the Ruins and Wasteland around Modesto.
Carol Channing and her Goons are Hospitable but wary of strangers, The Building has some rather tight security and its neon lights are inviting as they illuminate a rather dark section of the wasteland city of Modesto. Traders come from across the New Republic of California to see the Ghoul Entertainer and know she has knowledge about the area and the influence along with her singing and entertainment prowess. The State Theater is known for making its own Gin and Moonshine that packs a strong kick and fetches a good amount of caps in trade to outer regions and the wasteland.
The area around the Theater is Protected and patrolled by not only some of Carol's Goons but locals who depend on her protection and have some loyalty to her either through their addition to her Hooch or the availability of Chem dealers frequenting her theatre and Night club. local Raiders know to keep clear unless they are willing to strike a deal with Carol and her enforcers. In this way, the old State theater acts as a Neutral Ground or Meeting place for gangs to broker deals or treaties.
If you are looking for Chems then the State Theater is also a good place to procure some. Dealers will often attend shows and make their transactions here as they know they are relatively safe although under the watch of Carol and her Goons..
Purpose / Function
Originally a Movie and Entertainment Theater. The Theatre Now serves as a nightclub and gathering place it is also the home of Carol and her Goons.
Defenses
The Building is known to be protected by several automated weapons, some security cameras, and spotlights the streets in front of the State Theater are patrolled by some of Carol's Goons and the Doors are barred with security at each entrance.
