Lumunai
Few Lumunai came from the Lumin realm only recently. These angelic people had no reason or desire to step through the Rift initially. They are so closely connected to the Lumin realm that leaving their beautiful world seemed like madness. There are also only a few lumunai colonies in existance, and these colonies worked for the protection and care of nature.
They specialise in lumin healing magic and are generally kind people, albeit somewhat removed from the social circles of other species.
After The Rupture the Earth was in such chaos, the landscapes forever changed by the Rifts and fauna and flora changed and supplemented by both Void and Lumin. The Lumunai felt that they had no purpose in a world that was so different and dark.
But, lumunai are a curious people, and as the years after The Rupture rolled by, the younger generation of them wondered about this New Earth and if they could have a place in it. Eventually, in 2122, the first lumunai stepped through a minor rift and entered the world that is so different from their own. After that a few more would brave the change, against the wished of their elders. Lumunai are still a very rare sight, though. They tend to go to places where they think they can help and bring the light of the lumunai to the people.
As rare as the lumunai are in the world of New Earth, even more rare is the sight of a Fallen Lumunai, called so for they have strayed from the path of the light. These Fallen decided to abandon their connection to Lumin for whatever reason, and are darker in appearance. Some choose to create a bond with Void instead to fuel their power, others create pacts with eldritch creatures of various origins.
The biggest difference between a Fallen and a Lumunai, is the change in wing colour. Lumunai have the ability to sprout wings on command, usually white or golden in colour. The wings of a Fallen is grey or black in colour. Lumunai also have a halo of magic when they are using their magic. The halo is usually faint, but unique to each individual.
Lumunai cannot be turned into werewolves. On the rare occassion that a lumunai is turned into a vampire, they are immediately a fallen. Only Alpha vampires can turn Lumunai.

Biological Traits
Lumunai are considered adults at the age of 50 only. The Lumunai feel that a youngling must live long enough to go through trials and learn their own lessons first before they are considered mature. There are some cases where a youngling had a very tough early life, or displayed a great sense of courage in their actions, and the elders may consider them to be an adult earlier because of their life experiences. The opposite is also true, where there are cases where even a 50 year old Lumunai still has to wait before the elders give them their blessing. These lumunai often live very sheltered lives, and don't show initiative or take risks for the betterment and protection of the Light.

Facial characteristics
Lumunai have an appearance that many would describe as celestial. Their eyes are usually in shades of blue or yellow/golden, their hair is usually blonde or red.
Fallen have eyes in shades of black, purple or red and have dark hair colours.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Lumunai can be found almost anywhere. They tend to go where they feel their purpose draws them. They are still a very rare sight, though. A major city may only have two or three at any given time. If they go to a location that has a lot of vampires, they have to use magic to hide their nature, as vampires enjoy their blood most of all. For an Alpha vampire, acquiring a lumunia for feeding is a rare and delicious gift.

Lumunai are tall people. They have the ability to create and dismiss feathery wings that allow them to take flight. Older lumunai can create their wings whenever they want, but the younger ones are limited to once or twice before they have to take a break to replenish their energy.
