Steelpit

Steelpit is a mining village located in Richerus, in the Steelbury region.
Its primary export is Iron to Steelhaven for the production of steel. It is a mountain village that has limited space due to the terrain. The majority of the population are employed directly or indirectly with the operation of the mines. Due to the increased demand for Iron, the crown has started to send convicted criminals to work in the mines, much to the displeasure of the local populace and the guards that watch over them.
Since mining is not deemed a skilled job, and to help keep production costs down, miners are not paid alot, causing most of the village to live in squalor.
