Handspeak

Handspeak, language of the deaf and hard of hearing, sharing communication with outstretched hands.
Handspeak originated from signalling and code signs, typically used by thieves and gangs to communicate in silence. Modern scholars at the University have used it to help deaf and hard of hearing individuals communicate without writing. While a universal language is far from completed, a moderate amount of the language has been created.
The teaching of handspeak has been strict, with no room for dialects to appear with the teaching so far and few between for most mortals outside of Kalvari.
