Common

While regional dialects exist, Common is the only spoken language in the Mortal World. Besides Runic, there is little indication that any other languages ever existed.
The origins of the language have been difficult to trace. Some scholars put its origins in Kalvari with the first known surface civilization, others say it came from Avastaria's extensive rule. And while scholars speculate there were parent languages to Common, none have been found.
