Heart of Chaos

The Heart of Chaos is the centralmost point of the abyssal plane, it leaks the chaotic corruption that sustains and forms the twisted powers of the abyss. The name, 'Heart of Chaos' is very fitting, really, as it appears like a colossal, beating heart, suspended by great arteries and veins that stretch out and embed themselves into the walls of the realm. The heart is contained within a great temple of herculean size; this temple is the one sanctified place within the abyss, which not even demons would lay harm to, as they know its importance.

During the Cosmic Sundering when Erra's forces invaded Tellus, Talis made a fatal sacrifice to embolden the power of their planes, splitting their essence into two fundamental avatars, the Cascade and the Symphony. The Cascade is Talis' avatar for the abyssal plane; it is said that the entire plane resides within its demonic chest, and that the Heart of Chaos is its actual heart; although this is impossible to prove, it is certainly a compelling thought.
