Eidolons

At the beginning of reality, there were the Eidolons, formless, mindless, and purposeless, until they created space around them; a blank plane of untarnished ground and sky in which the Eidolons could roam and ponder. In one moment, another Eidolon created time, linking the two constants intrinsically, space and time.
Then, as an ultimate display of their control, one Eidolon gave themself a form, vague and discordant, but certain; as the first being, this Eidolon was crowned as Lord of Existence, god, in other words.   This Eidolon, Erra, would go on to make structures, simple experimentations of what is possible, "What can I do?". Erra was cautious and very reserved with what they did, worried of making something that would tarnish the grounds of Praeteria, as such, all of their creations were as Erra itself was, vague, formless and un-distinct.
However, when Erra began to get comfortable with their fabricative powers, they let themself loosen, and accidentally created a being with a mind of its own, Talis. When Erra realised what they had done, they attempted to destroy Talis, but lacked the power to do so, as the strength of the Eidolons was in creation, not destruction. Talis sensed the fear in their creator, and the scarring memory of Erra's attempt to destroy them never left its mind. Talis fled, although Praeteria had no-where to hide, so they used their own powers to create a mirror dimension which overlapped Praeteria, known as the Tellurian plane; Erra could not reach this plane, and they felt that their fears had come to fruition, the pristine world of Praeteria would be corrupted, marred by the existence of their own creation, the sentient, Talis.   As time went on, two things happened:
.More and more Eidolons managed to give themselves form, none resembling any other Eidolon distinctly, all unique, almost shifting in appearance.
.Erra felt their control of existence slip further and further away from them, as Talis created more planes, the Cosmic plane and the Abyssal plane.   As a last ditch effort to regain any fragment of control over reality, Erra committed a vile act. Expressing the power given to them as Lord of Existence, they battered and tortured the other Eidolons until they gave their complete fealty to Erra; in the process, the Eidolons were disfigured, their forms damaged and faded, turning them into what are now known as aberrants, spreading a thick, dusty cloud of mist all over Praeteria.
In their attempts to regain the purity of reality, Erra instead created the most vile corruption, and with their sins, ruined the home of all creation.   As Erra's mind became more and more clouded by their insatiable lust for control, Erra found a way to sneak their presence into Tellus, although small, they created a series of obelisks, which each contained a fragment of Erra's power; alone, the obelisks could do nothing, but Erra had seen the tenacity of the creatures that lived on Tellus, and they hoped that with their powers, it would provide the key for Erra to unleash the force contained within the obelisk and let their presence fall atop Talis's domain, where Erra's mad conquest for control would begin.
Thus begins the tale of the Cosmic Sundering, where Praeteria's mist spilled out into Tellus, and Erra could send their aberrant minions through, in a meaningless assault on anything and everything Talis made; everything Talis did, to destroy their beautiful home.
