Cosmic Plane

"The idea of order is nice, isn't it. A perfectly stacked shelf; an even coating of soft, white snow on untouched ground; a finely tuned regiment of machines, performing exactly what they need to, when they need to, all together... it sounds nice. It sounds... good.

But I have seen the Cosmos, I have walked the smooth ground of its labyrinthine passages, the ever-unchanging monotony of flawlessly carved surfaces and stairways. Stale, lifeless air filling your lungs as you move no-where, through nothing, into nothing... Why does it exist? Is it to serve the fascination of some higher being? If so, then why... why is it so cruelly made... designed even, to wring out all sense of worth, all meaning in life from my mind?

I would faster let the demons of chaos take me, than succumb to the vile 'purity' of the Cosmos."

The Cosmos is the manifestation of order, enemy to the Abyss, and the father of the mind.
The first conscious thoughts taken by creatures on Tellus were bestowed upon them by the Cosmos, it sparked the need for improvement, a furthering of one's knowledge, through any means necessary. The Cosmos grants intelligence and understanding, as well as purity, restraint and order.
