Senator Shoken Espire
Shoken is a somewhat disliked senator for Elfim's governing body. He does not seem to have a problem with bribery, forgery, lying and cheating to get his way. (Much like a human politician) Shoken has spent his life doing whatever he could to be on top. It is even rumored that he was vying for the Elfim Consoler seat but had not quite figured how to dethrone the current consoler. Shoken was slighted for a disciplinary hearing at the capitol building for purgery and bribery during his district's election cycle when the bombing of the capital happened. He has sense disappeared and no one knows if he fled or was kidnapped.

Personal history
Shoken grew up on a wealthy colony world and his father ran an extortion racket that ran afoul of the exchange for his transgressions the exchange killed his father and burned down their house. Shorken was then sent to a military school before failing out due to lack of physical capabilities. Shoken was then adopted by a wealthy farming family on one of Elfim's outer colonies. Shoken picked up quickly on his old habits and by the time he left school he was skilled enough to run for local office. through less then noble and legal means he rose quickly through the ranks before becoming Govenor of the Colony. Years later he would plant evidence of a senator from the fifth city district of Elfim partaking in allice crimes and then exposing him. He then took his place as senator and begin building his own wealth and reputation with little regard for the people of his district.
