Deepside Town Square

You're in the town square. It's somewhat cramped, and relatively tidy. It features a large donation box with "For the Greater Good" engraved into a plaque on the front. As you enter the town square, you see an aged human with enormous eyes haggling with a street vendor for a fresh loaf of bread.
There's a stray cat (This cat is a little scrawny, and has a black and white bicolour coat, with brilliant gold eyes and a scarred ear. This breed was bred to hunt rats and mice in barns. And this cat has a curious demeanour, always sneaking up and pouncing on things. It loves bacon, and it is particularly good at scratching.) that wanders around. There's also a noticeboard, which has various posters, requests, and announcements tacked to it.
