Kita Arani, Medic of the Legion Character in The March of the Cinder King | World Anvil

Kita Arani, Medic of the Legion

"It was a simple thing – volunteering for training at the Temple of Askira in my village to repay the debt my family incurred for our medical treatment after the Great Sickness. At the time, I was thankful for learning the trade of healing simply because I got do what I always did best – help others. Now, with the fate of the world in the balance in this war against the Cinder King, my skills are more than just a matter of simple healing."
  • Kita Arani
  •   A young Bartan medic who decided to join the Legion to fight for her home. The fact that many of her younger cousins had already joined helped guide her decision. She's a talented healer, and like many others, bears the mark of the Healing Goddess of Askira on the back of her hands. Like all Bartan people she wears many pieces of jewelry and tokens of friendship, though never on her wrists or forearms. One of her most prized pieces is the Holy Symbol of Mercy that she wears around her neck: a testament to her vow to care for the sick, tend the wounded, and aid the dying. Warm amongst her friends and companions, she is no stranger to stoicism when a mission turns south or a life hangs in the balance. Kita knows that the retreat to Skydagger Keep is long and dangerous and she dreads the lives that will be lost and fears for those that she will not be able to save. She will do her best to reach the keep with as many companions as she can.   During Operation Ghost Walk she was one of the few who withstood the touch of a Pale.
