Valiro
Valiro, beloved of our land,Of the eight Binian deities, Valiro is often the most misunderstood. Outsiders see the praise showered on this deity of war and bloodshed and worry that the cultures of the land treasure violence. If anything, the opposite is true, for Valiro is above all a deity of valour, the beloved of the travelling adventurer.
Honoured be thy name and majesty!
Our blood is shed by foreign sword-hand,
Valour ascends, power flows, strategy.
Axes and Maps
The Valiant God is known for his patronage of those who fight above all else. He is easily the most well-regarded deity in the Richterland of Valent, as the Valender halls are often decorated with trophies of war and shrines to Valiro in equal measure. He is also the patron of war strategists, generals and naval admirals who need guidance to plan offensives and prevent unnecessary bloodshed. The saying goes that "Valiro favours the brave," not "Valiro favours the foolhardy and sadistic."

Hachbredèn oth Hackshvezèn?
The many men, women and others who aid the cause of the servants of Valiro are their siblings-at-arms. They are known as the Hachbredèn ("axe-brothers") in the most of the Binian nations, but notably in the Richterland of Galeo they are known as the Hachshvezèn ("axe-sisters") due to the large number of women in the order in that region.Remove these ads.
