Hemlock

Hemlock is the second largest civilian population center of the Heartland Kingdom. It is the governing seat of the Rolling Hills province and is responsible for ensuring that the local farming population can practice their craft in optimal conditions. The current governor is Avianna Truesight, sister in law to Wallace MapleHeart .
Notwithstanding its relatively close position to the darker lands in the east, Hemlock is well known for its lively and warm atmosphere. The crime rate is surprisingly low for such a large city and most passing travelers dream of returning to the city one day to settle down and retire. They organize several festivals each year, attracting visitors from all over the Valley. The most known ones are the week of festivities at the end of the Harvest and the annual remembrance of the legendary battles of the 7th infantry division.
