Gregorius Mistral
Commander of the Eye, Vyronius Mistral
Gregorius is the commander of The Mistrals' Eye. He is part of the bloodline of Nycheia Mistral. Vyronius is an incredibly calculated tactician and devoted patriot. He has given his life to developing the Eye into the deadliest force north of the Lake. Vyronius leads by example and will often be the first to charge enemy lines when defending the paths to the kingdom. He values loyalty and self sacrifice above all in his men.
Vyronius was born in 555 almost 220 years after The Silent Renouncement. Vyronius was born to Nycheia’s grandson. Both Vyronius’ father and grandfather died during the war between the the Stalwarts and Thalassica. They went to aid with the defence of the Thalassica's capital because Vyronius’ grandmother was part of that ruling family. Vyronius himself however was not allowed to go because he had already become the leader of the Eye at that time. Him joining the war effort would have been a political statement of support, something Vaïnaemon was not prepared to do at the time.
