34 - 7/8

With the rise of the dark sister eclipsing the sun and bathing the land in twilight, it seemed that Morrigan was in the clear at least for a little while as she became accustomed to her new transformation into a Vampire. Interrogating the last cultist prisoner had little results other than learning a bit about their leader and the cult of Orcus, and after deciding she was no longer of use fed the unfortunate victim to the newly turned Robin, Morrigans thrall. With the gruesome feeding out of the way, the group began to discuss the plans going forward.   Saltmarsh and Darnagal both had potential answers, but first passage would need to be secured back to the mainland. Morrigan used sending to contact the pirate captain Jackson Firelight and told them to return as discussed. He would bring them to the safe haven of Santa Quint where hopefully the isles could offer safe passage across the sea and possibly provide some answers into who might have a grudge against Morrigan and Zelem. After using Ruvens water bending abilities to safely navigate down to the water, the group boarded the ship and departed for Santa Quint.   Upon arriving, it seemed that the town was celebrating a good year and a festival was being thrown! Far from a dreary pirate port, numerous ships and hundreds of colorful banners were strung around the village. On the docks, Pink met her old shipmate Sandara who was excited to see her, but Pink was not having it and after threatening the crew Sandara departed.   Deciding the Inn a likely place to gather information, the group visited the Naughty Gull Inn. Here a fighting ring was in the middle of the room, and the host offered a sum if any of the group would partake. It seemed to draw a crowd and in round 1, Pink handily beat Morrigan in a nail-biting boxing match. The next round saw Zelem and Ruven spar, but the shaman soundly beat her companion. With the bit of friendly fun out of the way, the group got paid and got resounding cheers from the crowd, before continuing on.
