With Kennmouth over and the group reunited, Morrigan and Zelem made plans to venture north to Cragmaw Castle on behalf of Anders Solmor and find out what fate had befallen it.
Before setting off on their journey, Morrigan and Zelem were introduced to a charming half-elf man named Danta, who promised to help Morrigan win the upcoming election in place of her mother. Danta had in the past helped Eda Oweland establish a name for herself, and was now going to help her daughter. His grand idea was to establish a series of entertainments in Morrigans name, to draw in the crowds and garner a good name for herself.
Danta had already established a meeting with just such a gentlemen to set this up, and the group set off to meet with him. Upon arrival, an ashen grey human named Gilean Vel introduced himself, and an agreement was reached. The Song and Sorrow Traveling Shadow Show would come to Saltmarsh in a matter of months, before the election was to occur, and would be done in Morrigans name. In return the man would get guards to protect them, and not be charged for the land usage.
With that settled, the trio rested for the night and in the morning continued on to Cragmaw Castle, where they hoped to liberate it of whatever the current inhabitants were. After a few days of travel, the group found the final trail leading up to the castle without much hassle, but it appeared a small caravan had been attacked. Evidence of something large coming from the south, and unknown tracks seemed to indicate attack, but not from whomever inhabited the keep.
After scouting the keep out, the group found it was currently inhabited by a tribe of goblins, and an attack was launched. Inside the goblins put up a strong defense, but eventually enough were slain and the surrendered. With the goblin leader at their mercy, the group began to interrogate the poor creature.

Important Characters

Morrigan Oweland - Heir to the Oweland estate and The Oweland Family, half-elven daughter of Eda Oweland and cousin of Robin Oweland. She is ambitious and beginning her political career.

Zelem - Tiefling, conman and swindler. Accomplice and partner in crime of Morrigan, has numerous alter-egos including Valor Windsail who is considered upstanding and is liked by the guard.

Danta - The Half-elf Bard has aided the Owelands in the past by gaining goodwill for Eda in the eyes of the public, and now seeks to aid her daughter in the same fashion. He has joined the group on the upcoming adventures.

Gilean Vel - The mysterious owner of the Song and Sorrow Traveling Shadow Show, he has agreed to begin preparations to move his show to Saltmarsh in the next few months. In return for a free plot of land, the show would be presented with Morrigans name to garner goodwill among the public.
