Bloodweed

Bloodweed grows in abundance throughout the spongy soil of the Boglands, its red extract staining the ground in a mock massacre. It is used by the locals as an insect repellant, by rubbing the “blood” on their skin, the hungry insects attack the extract instead of the person.
