The Heartbeat Stone

Alatheians are known for their longer lifespans compared to that of Elysians. This is due to the massive amounts of energy that flow throughout the world. The heartbeat soul is that of an ancient primordial; it is a relic, a gift given to Alatheia, and something that Maire Ina Arlaill took for herself. Originally used for her own selfish purposes, it is now used by Maire Farheis Shairic.

The heartbeat stone is used to elongate the lifespan of the human maire, and if in the right hands, can elongate the lives of others if the Maire so chooses. Farheis has continued the tradition of elongating their lifespand, despite it's rather unfortunate roots at the hands of Ina Arlaill. It is kept in a pendant around their neck and they will often bless those they deem worthy of such a thing.

Now, the human kingdom prospers under Farheis' rule, and other mortalis are no longer prohibited from entering the kingdom.
