Lokir Character in The Library of Dekash | World Anvil

Lokir

A warrior-poet raised in a small village tribe in northern Iocrias. While his childhood village was destroyed in a raid, the warrior Loskar saw promise in him and took him under his wing as a warrior. In their village, they were well respected hunter-warriors until Loskar stole an axe that was a historical artifact of the village, bringing dishonor on him and Lokir.   Lokir then set off to hunt down his adopted father to restore his honor. When he finally came across him; his plan to trap and get the jump on his obviously stronger opponent, while successful, did not give him enough of an edge to beat him. Loskar slashed his axe across his face, entirely destroying one eye. At the same time, a singularity of Ephemera opened up and connected two points in time where The Heroes of Crow's Fort emerged to help him fight off the time-corrupted version of Loskar. During the time in between that connection, Fyr a God deeply interested in Ephemera blessed Lokir with a new eye that would be able to see magical effects, and allow them to observe the effects of ephemera as he moved displaced from time.   Through Fyr's blessing, when the singularity was closed, Lokir joined the heroes back in their time, the year 255, 32 years in the future. He continued adventuring with them seeking glory and clashing with the time-displaced versions of the now deceased Loskar. He and the rest of the Heroes of Crow's Fort after finding out about Mercury Luxord-Vlatson's evil deeds believed he needed to die, and in doing so, released the Deep from its vessel and began the end of the world.
