Starwell

The Starwell is a natural fount of pure arcane energy that's located in south-east Occulas, Entei.It was discovered by the Followers of Merlin when the group voyaged south from Asmodius and established Alder City. It has since inspired the Humans of Entei, including the Followers of Entei that joined the city later on. The Starwell was the source of a faction of High Elves' addiction (who later become Star Elves), they grew more invested in it's energies and potential knowledge than even the Magi of Merlin. It was a relatively open area until these Elves were banished from it's magic, shortly before their exodus.
Since then, the Starwell has been a secure location, with only the greatest Magi or guests being allowed into the location. The Starwell was used to prophecise minor events of the Dark Days and the modern events of the Darkness (Darkness is Coming/Has Fallen Arc). The Starwell has also been used in the creation of Steldrassil, when the Star Elves took some of it's potent water and infused it with a seed from the World Tree, Ovdrassil.
The Starwell is the source of Entei City's Arcane Crystals, which were once grown from the powers of the Sapphire Jewel. The waters of the well are used to 'awaken' the magical artifices.
The well itself is a huge circular hole in the ground, and is infinitely deep with liquefied, arcane energy. Many magi have said it is as if staring into the cosmos through a lens made of sapphire. If undisturbed, its surface is indefinitely calm and still.

Architecture

The Starwell is located within a gigantic, domed building in Entei City. It is one of the oldest pieces of architecture to survive the quickly advancing buildings within the city. The building itself is made of light granite, threaded with silver for it's unexplained properties of containing the Starwell's residual energy. As per Arcazian style, Sapphire is used to decorate the columns, and Arcane Crystals can be seen floating within the building as you look up towards the blue, stained-glass dome above.
