Vine Snatchers

Vine Snatchers are predatory trees that are found in the Fae Wilds. They are usually about 4 meters tall and have bright pine green leaves. The trees are usually found in deep forests where they catch wandering creatures in the vines that protrude from their canopies. These vines are able to detect creatures by sensing their magical energy. Once the vines have found a creature, they will wrap around it either crushing it or choking it. Once the trees have killed their prey, the vines will drag the creature's unconscious body back to the host where it will disappear into the leaves. Vine Snatchers often lead their vines through the branches of other trees, greatly expanding their reach. Due to this tactic, the trees become even more dangerous as any unaware traveler can get snatched up by the vines even when they are not close to the tree.
