Tagus the Plague of the Plains

Tagus is a giant centaur that hunts the Meydian plains. He appears during heavy fogs, ambushing travelers and convoys. Only a few people have managed to survive an encounter with him, yet these poor souls all returned in a state of madness, too panicked to relive much of their experience, soo information about Tagus' abilities is scares. He has grown to become such a problem that none except a handful of brave or foolish locals still dare to venture onto the plains. Because of this, a reward has been offered by the empire for any man that is able to take the creature down.   Tagus’ lower body is covered in black fur, which matches the color of his long hair. The skin of his upper body is light brown and covered in scars. He is about twice as big as usual centaurs and physically far stronger. A cloth is wrapped around his face, covering one of his eyes. His other eye gives off a red glow. He wields a spear and wears pieces of leather armor on his upper body. A greatsword is strapped around his side and a longbow on his back.   His behavior is frantic, acting as if he is constantly enraged. Tagus will attack any creature, not stopping until everything is dead. He does not care about the creatures he slaughters, even if these are centaurs as well. He cannot be reasoned with, however, it is possible to frighten him.   Tagus has a Twig Flute of Companionship tugged away in a pouch hanging around his waste. And wears a rare helmet that increases intimidation by +1, persuasion by -2, and perception by -1.

  • Powerful Strike: Tagus may sacrifice one of its multi-attacks to make an extra powerful blow.
