Gauntlets of Rapturing
The Gauntlets of Rapturing hold the power to shatter the earth and shake the grounds. When being attuned to these gauntlets you may spend an action to bring down your fist to the ground, creating a rapturing quake in a 5 ft. area around you, dealing 2d4 Force plus 1d4 Thunder damage to any creature in range. Additionally, you make a Strength roll, any creature caught by the quake must make a Constitution saving throw contested by this Strength roll. If they fail, they fall prone. You may spend a bonus action to charge up the gauntlets. Each time you do so, the range of the quake increases by 5 ft. and creatures caught within the previous range of the rapture take an additional 1d4 Force and Thunder damage. This charge can stack up to a total of 3 times. However, if the gauntlets have 3 charges, you will also take the initial damage from the attack and must make the save Constitution saving throw to avoid falling prone.
Initially, the gauntlets can be used a total of 3 times before losing their power. After a long rest, you restore 1d4 uses of the gauntlets (to a maximum of 3). After a short rest, roll a d4, if you roll a 3 or 4, you restore one use of the gauntlets.
Being a pair of gauntlets, the Gauntlets of Rapturing provide the following additional benefits:
- Advantage on saving throws against being disarmed.
- When taking the block action, increase your AC by 2.
