Coat of Midnight

A mostly black coat with padded shoulders and a metal plate covering the chest below. The coat is made of a light fiber that looks as dark as the night sky. It is tailored in such a way that it does not restrict movement. The coat grants 11 AC + 1.5 times the wearer's dexterity modifier. It qualifies as light armor but it does not require the wearer to be proficient with light armor. Additionally, if a creature wearing the cloak of midnight is in a dark or dimly-lid area, it has advantage on stealth checks that rely primarily on sight or sound and can hide as a bonus action.
