San Fransisco sinks

North Korea attacks the United States with such force it triggers an earthquake that sinks San Fransisco.

Ocean levels had risen by nearly a whole metre by this time. Low lying areas were beginning to be submerged. For some regions this was causing an incredible amount of stress. During this time North Korea was struggling with it's capital city in danger of being submerged. It's leader then decided to attack the United States by firing long range weapons of mass destruction at the California coast. Most of the missiles were shot down by the defense system, however one got through. It struck just south of San Francisco. The resulting impact caused a massive earthquake and a massive tsunami.   When the dust settled, San Francisco was 50 feet under the surface of the ocean. Tops of buildings that mostly survived the impact were sticking out of the water well into the 22nd century. It is now one of the largest coral reefs known to exist.   San Jose and Oakland were nearly destroyed during this. They have since been rebuilt with one exception. The Golden Gate Bridge is still maintained as it was after the attack. Appearing like a ramp out of the depths of the ocean, and rising up into the city of Oakland.
