Cascading Falls Retreat
Cascading Falls Retreat is a relaxation spa, capable of having about 120 visitors. It is a common vacation spot for locals and visitors alike. Usually booked for weeks in advance they do sometimes have space for last minute group bookings, for a premium fee.
Named for the series of waterfalls that make their way down the western side of a large mountain. The retreat is located on a sizable island along the equator of the planet. A former volcano, there is no sign of activity in the last 350 years. The waterfalls each fall between 10 and 60 feet and form pools of hot water, heated by the sub-surface magma, the water temperature of the pools varies between 34° and 38° Celsius. Most of the pools are quite small, only 15 to 30 feet across and about 4 to 8 feet deep. As the pool fills, it overflows, making the next waterfall feeding the next pool.
Beside each pool is a small building. Usually with a private bedroom with a king sized bed on the second level. There is a balcony overlooking the pool, and has a view down the mountain to the forest, and oceans below, offering amazing sunset views. The main floor has a small kitchen, a dining area for two, a sitting room, and a multi-purpose room. The multi-purpose room is used for anything from yoga, to meditation, massages and more.
Larger buildings, for groups and parties have 4 to 6 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. The main floor is similar to the smaller huts, but with 2 multi-purpose rooms that allow for separation to have multiple private massages at once.
Staff will come and prepare 3 meals per day in the huts kitchen. Fresh caught local fish, as well other local cuisine can be had during your stay.
Upgraded services offered include a Kalian masseuse that can be hired who can massage with all 4 hands at once. Similarly, Serran meditation teachers are sought after for meditation, as they use their psionic powers to help induce a meditative state.
