Ritter

Ritter is the title given to knights who are serve in the Vigil in place of the more common ser. This title was once held in high regard throughout the entire land, regardless of political allegiance, but has now decreased in the past century as many claim the Vigil is an unnecessary tradition carried over through the eons. Those knights with the title of Ritter also bear a cloak with the mark of the Vigil emblazoned on them.
