Guiding Spire: The Temple Courtyard

The front of the guiding spire has two Minarets with balconies at 30 feet. Between them are sand softened staircase leading up to 3 stone arches with the middle one housing a statue of Ades. In one hand is a staff to push the boat down the river. The other is outstretched to greet visitors. On either side are double doors, both sets are slightly open. The steps are populated with an amount of pottery and presumably Ostracon for the dead and there are obvious disturbances up the steps into the Guiding Spire doors. But that’s not what gets your attention, it’s the recently dead jackals/hyennas that are descending the stairs toward you. Blood encrusted fur and pierced with a few arrows, they ignore the grievous wounds given to them in life.
