After his mother's exile from Dunefalle, he relocated to Banteave and assumed control of the coastal holding of Curvel at the behest of his aunt, Carais Luneste . If the situation in Banteave deteriorates, she reasons that naval superiority along the northern coast of Banteave could grant Luneste an advantage... and that's exactly what Zura can provide.
