First Landing

Here lie the remnants of the great longships that carried Alaric Bantevar across the seas during the Invasion of the Norvalled Raiders . While many of the ships were used during their raids up and down the coast during their war of conquest against the Antari Highlander's, a great many of them were left on the shores near Galesten. After the coronation of Alaric, he declared that the new Banteavan kingdom would chart a new path, and their raiding ships would no longer be needed. 
Today, the last rotting remnants of the Norvalled ships remain in their shoreside graveyard. It has become something of a hallowed ground for Banteavans who consider Alaric divinely inspired. For the Antari people, it was the first piece of their homeland lost to the raiders, and they spit and curse his name whenever they must pass by this stretch of shoreline.
