Ansel Kenrick Oake
Stoic, Doomed, Proud. Rumours abound of his dabbling in occult ritual. He has been swayed by the ways of The Cult of Resshe and has begun to dabble in dreamwalking. His father Owyne Oake has done what he can to hide his son's involvement with the cult, but sooner or later the church will take notice.
The youngest son of House Oake, Ansel is talented but not noteworthy in the arts of war like his sister Lowenna Benett Oake was. But he does possess a shrewd cunning and is a capable negotiator, willing to expand his point of view. He is fluent in several languages, including Old Antar and Dunefallian.

It is rumoured that Ansel is an accomplished Dreamwalker, and spends many hours (or sometimes days) in isolation indulging in this practice. He has a small coterie of loyal confidants that ensure his supply of dreamsmoke and either partake in the ritual with him or watch over his slumbering form to ensure his safety.
