Lord Marshall of the Lions Bane

Young by elven standards, Kel'Maris was the first of her kind to become the Lord Marshall of the Lions Bane. A spry High elf at the young age of 85, Kel'Maris has been around for many years of the Frozenroar reign. Hailing from the elven village of Ilyanamel, Kel'Maris travelled to Renada by order of King Besdor in order to be the sword instructor for a young [Gra who was set to inherit the throne.
Kel'Maris became great friends through the years with Gradvum and she readily agreed to join the Lions Bane, the King's personal guard. She quickly rose through the ranks and became second in command, directly below the Lord Marshall Kurt Reyginald. She was assigned as the personal guard to the King, always within ear shot. Due to her continuous presence, Kel'Maris gaining the nickname "Lions Shadow".

Personal history

Kel'maris was the first daughter of a prominent Elven family. Starting at a very young age, she trained in various forms of weaponry. Her most skilled form was a dual wielding form using a long sword and a short sword. The form became known as the Kel Scythe for its devastating ability to break a shield formation.
When she moved to the capital to be Gradvum's teacher, she entered the Avalor games every year, placing as one of the top five swordsman in the kingdom many times. Twice she had beat out every combatant and won it all.

Death

As Lord Marshall, Kel'Maris accompanied the group that will become known as the Misfits on their hunt for the immortal called Cid. During the final battle at Cid's citadel at Shadowfell, Kel'maris fell to a magic missile spell that pierced her chest. The Paladin Lavitz Shawe was able to safely bring back her body as the citadel collapsed around them. She was honored with a state funeral and her body was gracefully displayed at the Grand Cathedral for three days. Her body was burned in a private ceremony in accordance to her wishes, her ashes scattered across the Royal Forest.
