Beldir Willowrun was a born seaman. His mother gave birth to him while on her husbands fishing boat and ever since then the sea was Beldir's first home. He grew up in Cove City & Tinsel but spent most of his life on the sea. His father was a fisherman who specialized in capturing the Blue Stripe, a delicacy around Avalor. When he became of age, Beldir enlisted in the Royal Navy, quickly raising through the ranks. At the age of 37, he became captain of the Warship Xiomara and quickly became known for his prowess in hunting down the kingdoms enemies. After the defeat of the Pirate Lord Por Rostin, Beldir was promoted to Admiral. In his early forties, King Besdor positioned him as the new Sentinel of the Seas.

General Physical Condition

Stocky and white haired, Beldir is still a strong and robust man, even in his later years. The faint smell of salt water emanates from him whenever he wears his lucky hat. Refusing a cleric's help, Beldir is missing the lower part of his right leg. Gnomish inventors created for him an artificial leg that will never rust from the ocean air.

Beldir's right leg (from mid thigh down) is a artificial one created for him by gnomes. He had lost the leg many years ago after he entered combat with a kraken.
