Akimbo Duviskus
Akimbo Duviskus is a Stone Wanderer and member of the adventuring party Pristine. She is originally from The Lands of VeCoastal and resided in Deorum Urbis, the capital city of the Levial Theocracy. Akimbo was banished from her birthplace after refusing to abide by the laws of The First Retainer, as a young girl she had always been more interested in the concept of exploration and the idea of becoming an adventurer appealed to her greatly. Akimbo did not wish to return regularly to the capital in order to worship and upon telling her family of her intentions they were shocked, her mother wept and cursed at her daughter but it was all for naught as she had already made up her mind. The family notified the state of their daughters intentions and she was promptly banished.
Although Akimbo was banished she still holds onto some of the believes of The First Retainer embrewed into her at a young age and wished to pray at the sect one last time. This turned out to be a great mistake as at the location she would cross paths with Feyline Blightbrim, in the society of the Levial Theocracy, God Progenies are highly respected and the large majority of the population sees them as figures of inspiration and comfort. Due to this Duviskus consulted Feyline about her situation knowing that some of the Progenies were adventurers and explorers themselves, however Feyline asked the commoner girl to follow her to a location in which they could speak more privately.
Akimbo had never met a God Progeny before and allowed herself to be escorted by what she perceived as a figure of guidance to a private room, she was unaware of Blightbrim's true intentions, she would soon realise that they were far from what she expected. Once inside the private room, Feyline would beat Akimbo to a pulp whilst telling her how she had failed the First Deities and her existence was an atrocity that pained her eyes. After the encounter Akimbo was left with broken bones, lacerations and enormous bruising, however Feyline did not take her life but instead had guardsmen throw her outside the city in her almost paralysed state.
The situation was far from how she imagined her departure from the Theocracy would play out, at the age of fourteen she was lying in the blood soaked dirt waiting to die. Akimbo laid there for what felt like days until a passing group of people atop horse back took her, after passing out for an unknown amount of time she would awaken in a small encampment, five tents and ten rugged looking men were all in eye sight. Realising she had retained her senses the men would inform her on the situation, they had found her on the outskirts of the Levial Theocracy whilst searching for merchants to rob, these men were bandits.
For the next two years through ages fifthteen and sixteen, Akimbo would serve as their slave and toy. Preparing food, cleaning weaponry and blood soaked clothing. In this time she would also be raped and molested countless times at the hands of the bandits until she was eventually freed by Koila Kavanough, who had been tracking the bandits after they pillaged a small village.
Kavanough would protect and care for the young girl the next year and notice she was timid, shy and unconfident, comparable to a beaten dog. The girl would never ask the wanderer for anything and was very thankful whenever she received any kindness, Koila would not ask the girl about her past or what happened to her in the camp as she could only presume the events that took place there, it took a few months before Akimbo would even utter a word to her and she didn't want to frighten the girl bringing up the past.
During their brief year together, Akimbo's eagerness to become an adventurer was reignited and they would end up traveling to The Isles of Isaiath. Together they would visit The Crownlands Wanderer Guild and Akimbo would become a Wood Wanderer at the age of seventeen, after completing a few jobs together, the two would agree that it was time to separate as the rank disparity between them was severely hampering Koila's completion time of jobs ultimately lowering her income. The Iron Wanderer promised to always come to Akimbo's side in times of need if she is called and remains the young girls closest ally.
Eventually Akimbo would join the newly founded party Pristine and become an essential key to their success. Playing the role of supportive element, Akimbo utilises her shield based Collective Magic to protect and aid her comrades.
