Ryce Naeris (Rice / Nay - riss)
Ryce is a powerful dragon rider who works for the Nothing, whom he sees as a father figure. He is the son of the late Theoden Naeris and Kirthre Naeris, who died six years ago in a tragic accident near Airedale City. Aven Naeris is his younger brother with Lotha Naeris being Aven's twin sister.
After the death of his parents, Ryce took his sleeping little sister with him and eventually found the Nothing, who raised Ryce as a warrior for their twisted cause. Lotha stayed with him, training to become an assassin with her white lion steed.
Crimson moonlight seeped through the cracks of the dungeon walls like skeletal vines. Plip. Plip. Droplets of condensation dripped from the ceiling, echoing loudly on the stone floor. A single torch flickered near a wooden table covered in scrolls, quills, and inkwells. Standing in front of a scrying glass hung up on the wall furthest from the door was a man clad in black, the hood of his cloak drawn over his head. The bright, sickly green scales of a dragon gleamed in the moonlight as it rested on the floor at its master's feet. The scrying glass shimmered as the fog in the center drifted away, revealing a forest canopy and a group of adventurers, traveling by foot or horse. They seemed to heading toward a cluster of mountains. The man's hand clenched into a tight fist as the scrying glass zoomed to a white-haired adventurer. A bright flicker of the torch's flames enveloped the man before snuffing out and returning the room into utter darkness.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Ryce is a tall half-elf with a semi-muscular build and sharp, noble features on his face. He wears his silver-white hair in a brushed-back mohawk lengthening into a braid that drapes over his shoulder. Dark shadow makeup is painted around his electric-blue eyes.
He wears black and red armor with a dark blue cape on one shoulder. On his back is a hefty longsword that Ryce has embedded with poison magick.
Special abilities
Ever since he was little, Ryce has used nature magick — specifically poison. He has carved acid and poison runes into his skin to strengthen the power of his magick. With the help of his dragon, Rendan, his magick is stronger as well.

Ryce doesn't remember how his parents died, but he has been told by the Nothing that their death is a result of Aven's magick and that he should be wary. He struggles to sleep, constantly having nightmares about Aven doing something horrific when they were younger.

While Ryce may have had a struggling relationship with his father, he still cared about him and couldn't stand that he was gone. Kirthre Naeris. His mother raised him to be kind and understanding. After her death, Ryce threw those traits out, focusing on getting rid of his little brother. Lotha Naeris. Ryce's little sister. He is extremely protective of her and she hates being left alone without him. Aven Naeris. His younger brother and the bane of his existence.
