The Cavernous Seashank

The Cavernous Seashank is a notable class tavern in Port Ffirst's Old Town.
Being one of the two main taverns (together with The Flourished Hook) which cater to adventurers in Port Ffirst, the Seashank offers cheap accommodations. It is a meeting place for the local working class, mostly consisting of the fishermen and laborers of Port Ffirst.

Staff

• Jedd Heights, a grey-haired retired sailor, manages the bar and doles out the infamous Port Ffirst Chowder (a stew made up of whatever leftover fish and vegetables are available), as well as the Port Ffirst Porter, a frothless black ale.
• Gertrude Stoneshield, a dwarven woman 'in her prime' as she likes to describe hersellf, manages the kitchen and the ever bubbling cauldron of the mystery stew.
• Sally helps Gertrude in the kitchen, dreaming of her own business as a provider of fresh seafood to the local merchants and restaurants.
• Billy, an urchin boy, earns his coppers and roof over his head doing odd jobs around the tavern and is always eager to mix with the adventuring clientele.

"It is in the early morning. Last night's patrons are still asleep, their heads resting (somewhat) comfortably on the rough hewn wooden tables. The smell of sweat, vomit and cheap ale hangs in the air. Jedd, the innkeep, busies himself wiping down the bar countertop with a filthy rag. He manages to spread the grime evenly in slow, circular motions."
