Summer Court

Golden afternoons, revelry with abandon, glorious and triumphant, stormy and tempestuous - the Summer Court is a land that is perhaps the most immediately palatable to mortal visitors. It is brighter than most of the Feywild's standard twilight - sunshine being a must most of the time in the land of eternal summer. Fields of flowers and other less dangerous plants adorn the landscape, and woodland glades hold thick, warm air beneath their canopies that make the perfect place for an afternoon nap in amongst the floating dandelion fluff - if you are a fool.
Some say that the Summer Court is a place of parties, but anyone there would tell you that's inaccurate. They don't party, they revel - raucous, joyful and free. A revel can last days, traveling from place to place even or splitting up and joining up with other celebrations until the original purpose of the revel has been totally lost. It's the home of many satyrs - this life suits them perfectly. Music, dancing and feasting can be found across the court on most days - like all Fey things, as beautiful as it is dangerous.
Ruled by the legendary warrior Queen Titania, she brings to the land an extra emphasis on the stormier side of summer - of heat and thunder and adrenaline and battle and glory. Battlefields and training grounds are commonplace alongside the many rivers of the court. Warriors can find a home here as much as poets - and the combination of the two is a sure path to success.
Sunny afternoons in glorious battle or fabulous revelry - small wonder that it is one of the courts most notorious for mortal visitors losing themselves forever.
