Shaded plain
Geography
North of the plain is hilly terrain where ancient ruins of unknown origin stand silent just over the edge of cliffs near the river Edge. West the pain comes apart into marshy patches near the Bastard Lake. The rolling plain stretches inside the rivers with three main streams running through the plain. Eastern part turns slowly into the dessert as it nears to the mountains. The Border mountains are tall enough half of the plain is shaded most of the day hence the name.
Fauna & Flora
Great numbers of wild horses, water buffalos, antellopes, hyenas and bison roam the plains. They are defined by the permanent cover of grasses with solitary trees and few small woods scattered in the central part of the plain. Marsh patches of the west are without trees completely.
