Veshirnath - Chaos Lord, High Templar

Physical Description

Specialized Equipment

He wears ornate golden full plate armour which is more than worthy for a Chaos Lord, rides an armoured Karkadrak and wields both a vicious long mace and a masterfully forged and bound demon-wrought sword.
As usual for Templars, there are blue gemstones of great arcane potential set in his armour. These gemstones are only found in the lands of the Empire of Golden Flame's, although substitutes may be used if approved by the Priesthood.

Personal history

Born into the order in Aith'erant, he had the fortune of not having to fight as a Sariant Warrior like outside recruits, instead being anointed as Templar after long years of rigorous training and combat as squire. Gaining Battlefield glory and recognition from his superiors for his tactical acumen in many campaigns he finally gained his first command, which he built up victory after victory, until he gained a seat on the council of High Templars.
He gained the Epithet "the Vigilant", more as a point of ridicule, as he undertook one of the few campaigns to actually expand the territory of the Empire of Golden Flames, which hadn't been done since the end of the Age of Chaos, after which the Templars had fully concentrated on crusades in the service of their God in far away places across the realms.
High Templar Veshirnath took a city of exiled Ulguan aelves, which might have posed a problem to the Templars in the future if left alone. He enslaved the populace, and made the city a Templar stronghold at the border of the Empire's territory, seemingly standing vigilant as a mere watchmen, as other High Templars sneered.
However, he only used the time to strengthen his forces and deepen his power, before he continued his campaigns outside the Empire, leaving the defence of the city to other, more low-ranking Templars. He kept the Epithet, though - to him, it took on another meaning.

Accomplishments & Achievements

As High Templar, Veshirnath the Vigilant is the highest ranking member and commander of the Templars of Our Burning Saviour in the Interstice. An experienced commander, the Tzaangor has led many crusades in the name of his God, and fought a plethora of different factions; most often Nurglites, the arch-enemy, but indeed everything from Stormcast Eternals to the vile Flesheaters.
He has walked the path of glory, just like most who attain the station of Chaos Lord, or, in the Templars' case, High Templar, the equivalent rank in the hierarchy of the Templars of Our Burning Saviour. Even in a regulated and disciplined force like the Templars the path to glory is still followed, as the Dark Gods intended, although maybe in slightly different ways.

Contacts & Relations

After many successful crusades, the strands of fate as interpreted by his priestly advisors, have finally led him into the Interstice.
A most interesting place, where many strands of fate converge, and where Veshirnath will do Our Saviour's Will.
High Templar Veshirnath is friendly with Junius Deathbringer, as red paradox lounge companion and comrade in battle. He is aware of the grudge Lady Aquilor Iota Dalling bears against him, but this isn't mutual.
She may be just as much of an amusing hypocrite as the other Stormcast, but due to her unorthodoxy may yet prove interesting.
