Personal history

A former king in mortal life, he was betrayed by the faltering loyalty of his vassals. When a battle against the undead was at its height, his tactical and strategic superiority was undone by the diminishing courage of his fellow lords. Their cowardly retreat saw Arcturus surrounded by an unending horde of undead. 
As he faced certain defeat, he was given the chance to regain his mantle and title in an immortal form. Disdaining the weakness of mortal hearts, he saw to the establishment of his undead army and began to re-establish his grand kingdom once again.
