Zononian

An Ancient culture that lived in the forests and deep valleys of modern Faron. Evidence of their civilization can be found throughout the region, with giant stone sculptures of dragons, owls, and boars. Especially noteworthy are the Zonai Ruins, a massive remnant of the ancient culture that appears to follow the serpentine path of the Dracozu River all the way to the Spring of Courage.
Little is known about this ancient people, Including their language or customs. It is assumed that they were primarily a warrior culture, and that they were to some degree aware of the trinity aspect of the Triforce of the Gods.
While the cultures disappearance is an archeological mystery, more mysterious is the presence of Zononian culture at the perpetually shadowed Typhlo Ruins near the Forest of Spirits.
